The amazing researchers at Weimer Lab at Sanford Research were kind enough to give us a personal tour of their lab! I was able to share Isla’s story with everyone and personally thank them on behalf of everyone who loves our Isla girl for all of their amazing work.
This group of extra special humans work tirelessly and with great passion to make breakthroughs to get us one step closer to curing Batten Disease. The amount of gratitude I have for each and every researcher here is truly astronomical! This trip has been phenomenal and I have met so many important people who are working to change the future for Batten children.
